PORTRAIT & MODEL PHOTOGRAPHY II: 21-22 MAY 2016

[ back ]

Mastering poses from head to toe

Join our two day workshop portrait photography and master techniques to correct the poses of your models into the delicate details. With tips of Pascal Baetens & his team, you will learn to catch elegance, strength and a range of expressions in a single image.

This workshop is aimed at photo enthusiasts as well as professional photographers who want to improve their artistic or commercial portrait and model photography.

With photo sessions and to the point exercises you will learn to make different sorts of photographs, depending on your needs and demands.

Photographers work in small groups in our photo studio or in the many photogenic rooms of Salve Mater, our large day light studio.
Participants will have the opportunity to do some nude model studies; participants not at ease with nudity, will have to opportunity to only work with dressed models.

In particular, the workshop will focus on analysing poses in function of the model's expression, on correcting  them from the base to the extremities, adapting them to the required atmosphere, communicating your ideas, choosing light, location, lens, etc. in function of the posture and position of the model. We will also assist you with your image selection.
