2016's theme: 'Creating seducing nude images'
How would you define a seducing image? How do we create seducing images? What light fits best? Which poses? Which composition? Which expression? How can we guide our model into poses and expression?
Participants of Pascal Baetens' five day nude photography workshop can look forward to an intense and inspiring photographic experience! During those five days,
you will be gently guided to develop your own photographic concept.
With daily feedback and expert tips from Pascal Baetens and his team, you learn to fine tune your ideas and techniques so that you can go back home with a unique and strong collection of images.
Apart from Pascal's direct feedback and demonstrations, we can offer you an amazing location to work in: a former psychiatric hospital with more than 100 rooms. And of course, an enthusiastic team of gorgeous models will be standing by to realise your ideas with you. We look forward to see you at our workshop, a place where a number of strangers meet for the first time, and five days later go home as friends.

You will learn
- Camera & lighting techniques
- Create a strong collection of sensual nude images
- Use of composition, lenses, perspective, light, perspective, etc. to enhance the atmosphere of the image
- Communicating your concept to the model, communication skills, working as a team
- Working with (nude) models
- Photographing in different lighting situations and light conditions
- Your DSLR camera and lenses (wide angle to tele)
- Fully charged battery (+ spare)
- Memory cards, laptop or other external storage facilities
- Ideas & photographic wishes: what makes you tick, what would you like to make as images?
- Your sunny mood, a bit of patience and lots of inspiration!
We will provide
- At least 3 different professional models will be present each day. Most of them will stay for more than 1 day, some for the entire period. A strict code of conduct towards the models will have to be respected!
- 1 model per 3/4 participants
- Expert (nude) photography teaching from Pascal Baetens
- Multiple daily didactic moments: image reviews of participant's work & demonstrations by Pascal
- Lodging: in Spartan conditions (gracefully offered), at Salve Mater, or at own convenience (and organisation) in the neighbourhood. Note: Salve Mater has 1 shower for the entire group, 1 sink with hot water, several sinks with cold water (as we said: Spartan…).
- Meals & Drinks (not included in the price): basic breakfast and lunch at Salve Mater, dinner outside, drinks and sweets available.
